Book is StudioAnchor’s class scheduling module, and it’s still in development. It’s built around how studios run: classes with real capacity, waitlists that move people in, private lessons beside group classes, and a booking page with your studio’s look.

What it does

What’s built so far.

  • Classes with real capacitySet how many fit in each class, hold a seat for a walk-in, and let an owner go over capacity when it makes sense.
  • WaitlistsWhen a class fills, people join a first-come waitlist. For free classes, the next person can be moved in automatically when someone drops.
  • A booking page with your brandingMembers see your schedule on a page with your studio’s look, in one of three layouts, and book from there.
  • Private lessons beside group classesOffer private lessons from the same schedule as your group classes.
  • A weekly schedule you set onceBuild recurring weekly classes from a template and edit the whole series at once.
  • Switching, with a check firstImport your schedule and class plans from spreadsheets, review each row, and compare old and new side by side for 14 days before you switch.

Where it stands

In development, and not for sale yet.

Book isn’t available to buy, and it doesn’t have a price yet. Taking payments, waitlists for paid classes, make-up classes, season registration and family booking aren’t ready.

Questions

Can I sign up for Book today?

Not yet. Book is still in development and isn’t sold. Email [email protected] to hear when it’s ready, or start with Reach, Store or TellSafe, which are available now.

Can I move from Jackrabbit or Mindbody to Book?

Not directly. Book imports class schedules and class plans from spreadsheet (CSV) files, with a row-by-row review and a side-by-side comparison before you switch over. It doesn’t connect to Jackrabbit or Mindbody, and it doesn’t import members or balances yet.

Does Book have waitlists?

Yes, first come, first served. For free classes, the next person can be moved in automatically when a spot opens. Waitlists for paid classes aren’t available yet.

Does Book take payments?

Not yet. Book is built to take payments through Store, StudioAnchor’s shop, but that’s switched off until Book launches.

Does Book handle make-up classes or season registration?

Not today. There’s no make-up class feature, and families can’t register for a whole season or book for their children yet.
