Which to pick
An honest answer.
If you need class scheduling and payments now, Book isn’t ready. Mindbody, or studio software like Jackrabbit or DanceStudio-Pro, can run your schedule today.
What StudioAnchor can do now is the email and the shop beside your scheduling software: Reach for emailing families and Store for merch, tickets and gift cards.

How much does Mindbody cost?
Mindbody’s pricing page says plans start at $79 a month per location. Its three plans, Starter, Accelerate and Ultimate, are priced through its sales team, and it says there’s no onboarding fee on any plan.
Is there a Mindbody alternative for small dance studios?
StudioAnchor’s scheduling module, Book, is being built for small studios, but it’s still in development and can’t replace Mindbody today. Our guide to email software for dance studios also covers Jackrabbit, DanceStudio-Pro, The Studio Director and Akada, which include scheduling.
Can I move from Mindbody to Book?
Not directly. Book imports schedules and class plans from spreadsheet files, with a review and a side-by-side comparison before switching. It doesn’t import Mindbody exports, members or balances.
Can I use StudioAnchor alongside Mindbody?
Yes, for email and selling. Reach (email) and Store (an online shop) are available now and work on their own.
